Research
Interested in many different areas, I have done research projects in areas such as history, law, psychology, and art therapy. These projects teach me the skills to conduct research as well as write research papers.
Should History be Judged?
This paper focuses on how history needs to be judged due to the inevitably of judging. It covers topics such as how people are programmed to judge and how judging is in fact beneficial through using examples such as ethical standards for human research as a result of the Stanford Prison Experiment as well as how Covid-19 was dealt with.

Do Prisons Work?
This paper focuses on juvenile detention centers and how they do not work as racism plays a factor in the system and there is still a high rate of recidivism. It covers the flaws of the system in who is being incarcerated as well as how society impact African American youths, leading them to end up in juvenile detention centers in much higher percentages than expected.

Art Therapy as Placebo
This piece focuses on art therapy in both Taiwan and the United States and the cultural differences and similarities. However, it comes to the conclusion that in both places, art therapy is being used much more like a placebo rather than actual treatment. As part of this project, I also made art pieces demonstrating my findings about art therapy being a placebo.
